The CSF Seymour Award recognizes 50 outstanding students from over 1000 CSF Chapters and approximately 100,000 CSF student members. Qualifying students need to submit an application no later than February 18.

The Charles and Marian Seymour Memorial Award: Each spring, regional committees choose fifty outstanding Life Members from among candidates nominated by their chapter advisers. This process includes an application, essay, letters of recommendation, and an interview. The final selection is made on the basis of character, leadership, and service. Currently a total of $88,000 is awarded to the fifty finalists chosen in this process. The award is now regarded as one of the highest scholastic honors given to secondary school graduates in the state of California.
