In CSF, Emily serves as the club president. CSF adviser Victoria Winterton says that, "whether it's on the tennis
courts or among the officers of CSF, she has the ability to build an esprit de corps, setting an example for others
with her own quiet dignity, determination, and involvement."
Emily excels athletically as a four time MVP of her tennis team. And also artistically in cello as a four year State
Honor Orchestra selection. Last year she performed as a featured soloist on a European tour.
For her determination, she credits her mother, who defeated cancer, and her father, who persevered over various
obstacles during medical school
Emily will be attending UC Berkeley in the fall. She will be majoring in Political Science with her sights set on
being an attorney.
