Lindsey attends Oroville High School where she is a member of CSF Chapter 143. Scott Gianinni recognizes Lindsey's commitment to making her school and community a better place.
"Lindsey has been reaching out and supporting local projects to advocate for a safer, healthier, and happier community," wrote Mai See Theo, Hmong Youth Coordinator.
According to Lindsey, her community service activities have taught her not only to appreciate and celebrate everyone's differences, but also to abhor judgment based on anything but an individual's character and personality.
Next year Lindsey will pursue a nursing degree at the University of San Francisco, or University of California at Berkley, Davis, or Los Angeles.
