For her efforts, Lisa has remained on the Principal's High Honor Roll during all four years of high school and has been recognized by the National Chinese Honor Society, the Mu Alpha Theta Mathematics Honor Society, The National Honor Society, and the Science National Honor Society. She has earned the AP Scholar with Distinction award as well as the Golden State Seal Merit Diploma. All of these academic accomplishments equal one important title, that of Valedictorian.

Lisa's CSF Advisor Aileen Willoughby at Palos Verdes High School when writing about her duties in CSF states that At times I felt that she was more of a young colleague rather than a student, Keri Kaba-Dien, the youth Director at Victory Fellowship Church writes in her letter that Lisa has learned to look beyond a person's past, life situations, or disabilities, and see the positive things in them. In her personal statement, Lisa explains that serving and being involved are the most personally rewarding experiences I can have. Lisa's plans for the future include earning a degree in Math at either UC Irvine or UC San Diego.
