In CSF, Mary serves and the club's community service director, leading with distinction. Her adviser says that "her
willingness to step up and fill the void in the area of service was manifest from the first meeting. Her suggestions
for projects were many and varied, all with the goal of enabling students to step up themselves and become part of
the solution instead of sitting passively on the side."
In service to the school and community, Mary's teacher Robert Foshee has observed that "not only does Mary see
the importance of serving, but she also has the distinct ability to empathize with people as well."
She will be majoring in Chemistry as a pre-med student.
