Renae Leveille, 2012 Seymour Award Finalist
Del Oro High School is a 2nd home for Renae. States her CSF adviser, Anna Luci, Renae is definitely a wellrounded individual with strong academic skills, great social skills, and a passion to serve others. She understands her role in helping others and is a tireless servant to others.
This is evident in the activities Renae is involved in both in and out of school. She is President of CSF, basketball and tennis team captain, chair of two Homecoming committees, and a group leader and event planner of two other clubs. She is also very active in providing a spiritual atmosphere on her campus. Her awards and recognitions include Girls State finalist, Sojourners Essay finalist, and Coach's awards for both basketball and swim teams. Renae has also worked for a local restaurant and babysat for 4 different families.
Renae, in her personal essay, states, I'm truly fortunate to be able to help out my school, my community, and ultimately my world. I have gained leadership skills of communication and guidance which I will use throughout the rest of my life. I love helping others and seeing improvements or progress in all of the organizations I help out with.
Renae wants to become a pediatric endocrinologist and she hopes to do that by majoring in Biology/Biological Science at UC Davis.
