Riciel comes from Newark Memorial HS in Newark where she is her CSF chapters President. Her chapter has been busy with Food Faire fundraisers, adopt a family and marine care packages. She has been a class senator, ASB treasurer and a Link crew Commissioner. She likes Karate, Kites, ping pong and making the daily announcements at her school. Ms. Evans, her CSF advisor, says "she is hardworking, reliable and trustworthy along with being a great example to her peers." "She has a cheerful voice that is heard every day at our school over the speaker system as she reads the announcements to the student body." Ms. Destowet, of Leadership at Newark, says "knowing Riciel is an uplifting experience. She has no pretense, no drama, and is always willing to lend a shoulder to lean on. Riciel is honestly an amazing person." In her own personal statement she shared that "regardless of my fast paced life, I am able to give my all into everything I do. I've been raised to understand that if I am going to do something, then it must be done right and to the fullest. Riciel wants to major in Communication/Business with a minor in Political science at her #1 college pick of UC Davis.
